Meet Ga’SouL (Chawanangwa Mhango), an alternative Hip-hop artist from Lilongwe. Inspired by legends like Common, Talib Kweli, Mos Def, and local pioneers such as Real Elements and Third Eye, he began writing and performing in his teens. He officially broke out in 2013 and released his debut album Transition in 2021, followed by singles, freestyles (From Archives), and his latest EP S.O.U.L (2023), now on all major platforms. Ga’SouL stands out for his socially conscious and uplifting artistry—tackling themes like personal growth, mental health, social justice, and while spreading messages of positivity, self-love, and unity.
