dF

dF is an artist from Blantyre who has been making music since 2018. He started as a poet in mid-2016 and later discovered, with encouragement from peers, he can double as a rapper. With several projects under his name, he continues to write about life experiences both of himself and others. Notable songs with such themes include Heal, released in 2022 under the project “I’m yet to find a title” and Drowning, released in 2023 under the project titled “…of love and sadness” released in 2023. Of notable achievements, dF has won the UMP College Cypher Awards 2024 as the best overall rapper and the school's finest under Kamuzu University of Malawi which he participated in in his final year as a medical student. He is also an award nominee under the Malawi Sounds Awards 2024 in the English Poetry category.
