Matt Hew is a Malawian hip-hop, rap, and lo-fi artist known for blending spoken word and poetry with raw storytelling. Influenced by J. Cole, Touchline, Mac Miller, Chance the Rapper, King Los, and Humble Beast, his music bridges introspection and motivation with a smooth, rhythmic flow. Based in Lilongwe, Malawi, Matt Hew has earned recognition for his lyrical depth, winning the True Malawian Art (TMA) Poet of 2016 and Best Poet of 2018 in the Spiritunez online awards.
