Chikondi is about the kind of love that once felt real — the love that came with trust, loyalty, and the belief that someone would never hurt you. There was a time when you trusted someone with your heart, your feelings, and perhaps even your deepest secrets. You believed in them, stood by them, and gave them a part of yourself. But in the end, that trust was broken, and the person you thought would protect your heart became the reason it was hurting. This track explores the pain that comes with betrayal, broken trust, disappointment, and heartbreak. It captures the confusion of asking yourself how someone you loved so deeply could become the person who caused you the most pain. Chikondi is not simply about losing a relationship. It is about losing the trust you had in someone — and trying to find yourself again after that trust has been shattered. Sometimes, the deepest heartbreak isn't when someone leaves.
