Bwerako

Album · 2025 · 10 songs, 46 min

Bwerako—which means “Return” in Chichewa—is a deeply personal and spiritual acoustic album by Malawian artist Lester Nkhoma. Inspired by the parable of the Prodigal Son (Luke 15), each track invites listeners on a journey of repentance, healing, and restoration. Blending heartfelt melodies with cultural storytelling, 'Bwerako' reflects Sermon’s Chewa heritage and the profound truth that “a child is a parent’s heart.” With raw, emotional vocals and minimalist acoustic arrangements, the album creates a space for reflection, worship, and reconnection with God. This is more than music—it’s a call to come home.
